Neil planned an amazing 10-day vacation for my husband and myself for our 10-year anniversary. We visited Cape Town, Kruger and Sabi Sands. Neil stands apart from other vacation planners since he is a native of South Africa and operated a lodge for many years. Due to his knowledge and experience, he was able to suggest amazing experiences that were off the beaten path. He crafted the perfect itinerary based on our personality, tastes and budget. He was very timely in responding to our many questions that we had during the planning process.

We would highly recommend him and will definitely be using him again in the future!

David and Rupali, Phoenix, Arizona - February 2016

In 2001 my partner and I went to South Africa for the first time and we completely fell in love with this beautiful country. We had to go back, we call it the African bug, and since then we spend a lot of time in the South African bush every year, the bush and the wildlife became our passion.

Neil Stuckenberg, as owner of the lodge which became our second home, taught us so much about the bush, its wildlife, and his knowledge of birds is awesome. Due to Neil's skills as a guide and ranger we had the most wonderful wildlife experiences and encounters with wild animals we will never forget. We also took advantage of Neil's knowledge of South Africa to visit other places.

We were very sorry to see Neil and his family leave South Africa and we miss the drives and bushwalks with him. Another skill of Neil and his wife, Melanie, is their hospitality. We came back to the lodge they owned every year because we felt so welcome. You come as guests but you leave as friends.

We wish Neil all the best with his new adventure, we are sure he will succeed.

Bieneke Baas, Els Simons - The Netherlands

We have been visiting South Africa since 2004. Our family fell in love with the African bush and its extraordinary wildlife. One of the highlights of our annual stay was the visit to the game lodge Neil and his wife Melanie owned on Thornybush Game Reserve.

From the countless game drives we did over the past ten years the ones with the game lodge Neil managed were the nicest. He had very knowledgeable guides and a superb tracker. We witnessed many 'National Geographic-worthy' scenes while on drive. Neil took us on bush walks and we really felt his passion for the bush during these informative journeys.

Neil made us always feel very comfortable and safe which was quite an achievement accommodating a family with four small children in an unfenced camp in a reserve with the big five on it.

We always felt that Neil handled this special situation with a lot of responsabillity. He was the one who gave us the opportunity to experience the bush with children, never sacrificing the comfort of the other guests. The latter made us feel comfortable and welcome. This is truly unique and we are thankful he provided us with this great chance.

We honestly believe that Neil has the talent to bring to people, with or without children, that one holiday they will always remember. We wish Neil all the best with the new safari business!

Kind regards from Bert and Nancy Driessen, Belgium. - December 2014

My wife and I have been thinking about going on a safari to South Africa for some time now, but were always intimidated by the whole process and effort. Neil has been able to address all our fears and concerns and has put together a wonderful itinerary, seemingly in no time at all, and for far less than we thought it would cost. We are leaving in a few months and cannot wait to experience our dream safari...

Andy and Jen, Scottsdale, Arizona - October 2014

I have spent many hours in the African Bush, much of that with Neil Stuckenberg, and it was always a pleasure and privilege.

We explored Kruger National Park and many of the Private Game Reserves that comprises the "Greater Kruger", together.

The vast majority of our time, however, was spent on Thornybush Game Reserve, where Neil owned his own Game Lodge, and I was the General Manager of Monwana & Serondella Lodges. During these times, I was always impressed with Neil's passion for the bush and his Guests' comfort.

His appreciation for Nature, Wildlife, and most importantly, sharing that with Guests, ensured that they always had a great time and experience at his lodge and in the bush. It is a very special career to pursue; guiding visitors to the wonders of Africa and Neil took that responsibility seriously and enthusiastically.

Neil understands the balance between truly experiencing the Wilderness, while not sacrificing the creature comforts we all appreciate when on vacation. I wish Neil the best of luck with his new Safari Travel business and am confident he will be successful and will once again create Life Changing memories for many, many happy Guests ...
